LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER
The top 15 contestants per discipline in the VRQ standings on the 2026 WCJR Leaderboard as of June 22, 2026 will earn a direct spot in the Semi-Finals with no additional entry fee.
Entries will open April 1 on Nextgen Rodeo.
Entry Fees: Youth and Junior: $250/discipline
NOMINATIONS CLOSE JUNE 22
Leaderboard Route:
From the qualifier, the top six in round one and round two along with the the top 15 in the aggregate will move forward and earn a position in the semi-finals rounds. Entries will open April 1 on Nextgen Rodeo.
Top 15 will have seeded positions in the semi-final round with no additional entry fees
Seeded semifinalist can pay an entry fee to participate for extra jackpot money but will not lose their seeded position
QUALIFIER SERIES EVENT
At each Qualifier Series event, the highest-placing nominated athlete earns a generic qualification to the 2026 World Championship Junior Rodeo (WCJR), regardless of their position on the WCJR leaderboard.
Athletes may only earn one (1) generic qualification. If the same athlete earns the top-nominated spot at multiple events, the qualification will roll down to the next highest-placing nominated athlete at those additional events.
